About The Position

Fold Health is hiring a Director of Implementations to lead enterprise implementations for value-based care organizations nationwide. As Fold scales to support larger and more complex provider groups (ACOs, MSOs, and risk-bearing organizations), this role will own predictable, high-quality go-lives and ensure customers realize measurable clinical, operational, and financial value. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with end-to-end ownership of implementations and strategic oversight of early post-go-live success (approximately 75% implementation / 25% customer success). The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing enterprise healthcare technology, understands provider operations, and can lead confidently across clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in healthcare technology implementations, program management, or professional services
  • 7+ years implementing enterprise platforms for provider organizations, ACOs, MSOs, or health systems
  • 5+ years working with value-based care, risk-based arrangements, or population health programs
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level and clinical leaders
  • Comfortable operating in high-growth, ambiguous environments
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing platforms integrated with Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Elation, or similar EHRs
  • Experience scaling implementations in high-growth healthcare startups
  • Background working directly with delegated-risk or value-based provider organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full implementation lifecycle from contract signature through go-live and stabilization.
  • Define and continuously improve a scalable, repeatable implementation methodology.
  • Serve as executive owner for all active implementations, accountable for timelines, quality, and outcomes.
  • Lead go-live planning, execution, and early performance monitoring to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Navigate complex provider organizations with multiple departments, sites, lines of business, and governance structures.
  • Act as the single point of accountability across Product, Engineering, Data, Integrations, QA, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Translate customer needs into clear internal workstreams and resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align implementation needs with roadmap priorities while avoiding long-term technical debt.
  • Support Sales in late-stage deals by validating scope, timelines, and implementation readiness.
  • Ensure operational, clinical, and technical readiness, including workflows, staffing models, and integrations (EHR, claims, eligibility, HIEs).
  • Define success metrics such as time-to-go-live, adoption readiness, and early value realization.
  • Own the handoff to Customer Success with clear success plans, KPIs, and adoption milestones.
  • Remain strategically involved with key enterprise customers during the first 6-12 months post-go-live.
  • Own implementation metrics, dashboards, and reporting for executive visibility.
  • Develop playbooks, templates, and internal tooling to standardize delivery.
  • Define SLAs and operating rhythms with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and Integrations.
  • Ensure implementation learnings inform product improvements and go-to-market processes.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Implementation team.
  • Set clear roles, expectations, and accountability frameworks.
  • Establish strong operating rhythms and decision-making in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Design training programs and enablement materials for internal teams and customers.
