About The Position

This role is responsible for the entire implementation process for new Curve customers, from the signing of a contract to a successful and confident practice launch. This includes onboarding, go-live, and migrating patient, clinical, and other data from legacy systems. The Director will lead a team of approximately 30 individuals, report to the Chief Customer Officer, and be accountable for successful launches, time-to-value, data accuracy, customer satisfaction at go-live, and onboarding churn. This is a builder role focused on running a high-volume delivery engine while simultaneously redesigning processes, tooling, and team structures for scalability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in implementation, professional services, or onboarding for B2B SaaS.
  • 4+ years leading managers.
  • Experience leading a team of 25+ in a high-volume, deadline-driven delivery model.
  • Hands-on understanding of data migration, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
  • A proven track record of reducing time-to-live or improving go-live quality, supported by data.
  • Strong operating rigor, including capacity planning, metrics tracking, forecasting, and clear executive reporting.
  • Calm and direct communication skills with customers, executives, and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated practical application of AI to enhance customer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dental, healthcare, or other practice management software.
  • Experience rolling out software across multi-location groups or DSOs.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to automate onboarding or conversion tooling.
  • Familiarity with implementation tools such as Rocketlane, GuideCX, Salesforce, or Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and go-live processes, owning the end-to-end implementation journey from sales handoff through kickoff, configuration, go-live, and handoff to Customer Success Management.
  • Set and achieve targets for time-to-live, on-time go-lives, and customer satisfaction at go-live.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for single-location practices and phased rollouts for multi-location groups.
  • Serve as the escalation point for at-risk implementations and personally manage the highest-stakes accounts.
  • Lead the conversion team responsible for moving patient demographics, charts, imaging links, ledgers, insurance, and scheduling data from legacy practice management systems.
  • Establish data accuracy standards, validation steps, and sign-off criteria prior to any go-live.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to automate conversion tooling and reduce manual effort.
  • Lead a team of 20-30 people through managers and team leads, including hiring, coaching, and developing future leaders.
  • Design team structures, roles, and capacity models to scale with bookings.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accuracy, and composure under pressure.
  • Forecast implementation capacity against the sales pipeline and identify constraints early.
  • Provide weekly reports on backlog, cycle time, conversion quality, and implementation cost per customer.
  • Strengthen handoffs with Sales (scoping and expectations), Support, and Customer Success.
  • Provide customer and conversion insights back to the Product team to enhance setup and onboarding within the software.
