Requirements

  • 3+ years in people operations
  • Demonstrated core human resources administration knowledge and application
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and make tradeoffs
  • Experience developing and implementing organizational policies
  • Prior experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Audit employees' work hours and leave for each payroll cycle.
  • Provide direction and assistance to departments with the timekeeping system to ensure all time is entered and approved accurately and timely and all discrepancies/errors are corrected before processing payroll, and administer leave audits as part of the employees' final paychecks for termination payouts.
  • Develop and oversee programs supporting employee learning and development, performance and talent management, and corporate culture.
  • Manage people operations functions including but not limited to onboarding and training, employee and contractor information administration, benefits selection and administration, payroll processing, company policies and handbook maintenance and administration, and employee verifications.
  • Serve as the day-to-day HR contact for employees to address questions and issues that arise, providing sound guidance in a responsive and timely manner.
  • Liaise with third-party providers and maintain human resource information system (HRIS) to ensure all employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Oversee culture and diversity program development and implementation.
  • Work with the Legal, Finance, and Recruiting teams to ensure compliance with federal and state policies.
  • Oversee and manage payroll, benefits and associated projects.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
