About The Position

LindenGrove Waukesha, an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Director of Housing in our Independent Living. We offer assisted living, memory support, and short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled care on a beautiful campus. We are passionate about offering holistic, transformative care and helping those in need rediscover their light within. The Director of Housing is responsible to oversee the housing complex, assuring delivery of quality programs and services to residents in a safe and secure environment, maintaining positive relationships with all individuals, association churches, and the local community.

Requirements

  • Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
  • Ability to relate well to all individuals.
  • Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience managing retirement housing required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in field of health care, administration, social work, business, nursing, or related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
  • Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
  • Work in conjunction with other staff to achieve the organizational annual goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the provision of quality programs and services for the residents, including prompt resolution of concerns that result in resident satisfaction.
  • Ensures positive team relations among staff and buildings, streamlining of programs and services, as appropriate.
  • Ensures the upkeep of the campus grounds to maintain a positive image within the community.
  • Assists with marketing housing units, coordinates refurbishment of housing units, conducts tours as needed, and coordinates resident moves.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
