About The Position

Elim Shores , a Cassia community, is hiring a Housing Director to join our team! As the Director of Housing , you’ll oversee daily operations, foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with housing and regulatory standards. This role requires a confident, relationship-driven leader who can support a stable, engaged team and cultivate the positive, welcoming environment our community is proud of. Our ideal candidate will preferably have at least one to two years of previous experience in housing or property management, ideally working with aging adults. A BA degree related to long-term care or housing and knowledge of legal housing requirements are preferred. Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology or Business Administration required.
  • Must be a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD)
  • Previous experience in business management, emphasis on property management preferred.
  • 1-2 years staff supervisory experience preferred.
  • Understanding of the comprehensive home care rules and regulations.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a senior housing building.
  • Display an understanding of confidentiality for resident information and vulnerable adult issues.
  • Oversee the facility financial performance.
  • Oversee staff development, hiring practices, in-service training sessions, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment.
  • Maintain and manage state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in development of strategic long-range plans for the community and our organization.
