About The Position

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for managing the housekeeping department to ensure a 5-star guest experience by leading a team that delivers spotless rooms and warm service. This role involves keeping the department on budget by managing labor, cutting costs, and finding savings. The Director will train and coach Associates on cleanliness standards, brand expectations, and the importance of details. They will manage the department with confidence, handling staffing decisions, performance feedback, and disciplinary actions. Additionally, the Director will partner with other departments to ensure smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and efficient laundry services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hotel management experience
  • Housekeeping leadership background
  • High school diploma (or higher)
  • Strong tech skills – Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel systems
  • Flexibility and stamina – ready for any shift or task, and can lift up to 50 lbs
