About The Position

As the Director of Food & Beverage at M Social Sunnyvale, you will lead all food and beverage operations across the hotel. Your role will involve creating memorable dining experiences while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and team engagement. This position is suited for a hospitality leader with strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and a passion for creating exceptional experiences for both guests and team members. You will shape the vision, culture, and performance of the Food & Beverage division, driving revenue growth, cultivating talent, and delivering guest experiences that align with the M Social brand. Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations or related hospitality environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, accountability, and team engagement.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor costs, and departmental performance.
  • Ability to lead through change, innovation, and operational growth.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering operations.
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
  • Experience managing labor productivity, scheduling, and inventory controls.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Experience with POS systems and hospitality technology platforms.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, lounge, banquets, and in-room dining.
