About The Position

The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic direction and daily oversight for the community’s dining operations, ensuring memorable meals, seamless service, and a high-quality hospitality experience. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the Director shapes menu innovation, elevates service standards, and ensures dining venues meet residents’ expectations. The role oversees kitchen operations, dining room flow, budgets, compliance, menu development, and staff growth.

The Director promotes health and wellness through balanced, nutrient-forward menus that support residents across all levels of care. The role incorporates contemporary restaurant trends such as fresh seasonal ingredients, bold and clean flavors, customizable options, and attractive presentation. Responsibilities extend across four restaurants and dining services for Assisted Living, Memory Care, and the Health Center, with a focus on consistency, dignity, enjoyment, teamwork, innovation, and genuine care.

Requirements

• High school graduation is required.
• Certification as required by state regulation.
• At least three years of experience in the administration of food services systems.
• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, and be tolerant of residents, patients, visitors, families, peers, subordinates, supervisors, and outside contacts.
