About The Position

The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for elevating the food and beverage offerings to match the quality and sensorial experience of the hotel. This role involves creating memorable experiences, bringing dreams to life, and delivering unmatched perfection. The Director will provide personalized and thoughtful service from the moment of arrival, fostering an environment where team members can be themselves and succeed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering an elevated dining experience, excel at upskilling teams, and inspire a spirit to serve. They will leverage the support of other departments collaboratively, work alongside servers and bartenders, and consistently seek opportunities to surprise and delight guests. A deep love for food is essential. The role requires experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a full-service, luxury hotel or high-volume fine dining establishment, and a proven track record of leading restaurant and bar departments to prosperity and growth. The Director will be passionate about the work behind the scenes and enjoy interacting with guests to share the story behind culinary adventures.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a full-service, luxury hotel or high-volume fine dining establishment.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing Restaurant and Bar departments to prosperity and growth.
  • Hospitality education and/or appropriate level of on-the-job training and hotel culinary experience.
  • At least 5 years of Restaurant and Bar Management experience, including fine dining and banquet events.
  • In-depth skills and knowledge of all bar and dining operations.
  • Passion for delivering an elevated dining experience.
  • Ability to upskill teams to achieve top-notch performance.
  • Ability to inspire a spirit to serve in others.
  • Ability to leverage the support of other departments in a positive and collaborative way.
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and work alongside Servers and Bartenders.
  • A love for food.
