About The Position

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Fitness & Rehabilitation Services position. This role is part of an in-house program within a welcoming, slower-paced community environment that delivers holistic care with a strong focus on prevention. The position offers specialized on-site training during paid work hours, with some sessions eligible for CEUs. You will have access to state-of-the-art rehab gyms and equipment and the opportunity to build relationships by following residents across the full continuum of care, including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services. Clinically driven, patient-centered treatment decisions guide all programs and care plans. We foster a positive leadership philosophy that gives therapists opportunities to provide input into programming, systems, and creative idea sharing. As a non-profit organization, student loan forgiveness is available after 10 years. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the Rehabilitation and Fitness Departments to include staff utilization, budgetary responsibility, internal marketing, support of well-being programs, departmental and regulatory compliance, and performing other related duties as required. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology)
  • For SLP candidates, an active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) is required
  • Minimum of three years' direct patient care experience
  • Minimum of one year' management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing
  • Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process
