The Role: Peek is looking for a highly talented, passionate and analytical individual to join our corporate finance team. As a senior leader, you will drive high-impact projects that impact the strategic direction of Peek. This position is ideal for a seasoned Finance professional who excels in big-picture strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Completion of a 2 year Investment Banking program, followed by an additional year in Private Equity, Consulting, or Banking
  • 3-8 years of in-house finance experience
  • Background in fast-paced, startup or high-growth environments, with a demonstrated ability to thrive amidst ambiguity. Saas environment preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, three-statement forecasting, and accounting principles
  • Highly proficient in Excel, with advanced modeling skills
  • Familiarity with SQL and experience working with large, complex data sets
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to distill complex financial information for a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven experience supporting or leading M&A transactions, capital raises, or other strategic financial initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead, grow and optimize our finance team with high degrees of analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration and a broad skill set combining finance, data, and strategy
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to develop and monitor key performance indicators across the organization
  • Work closely with department owners to translate key operational metrics into actionable guidance that assists with decision making
  • Create and operate key financial forecasting tools and operating models, partnering with teams across the business to maximize predictability
  • Create and own the financial planning and budgeting lifecycle, working to shape the financial trajectory of the business and connect operating goals to financial targets
  • Identify and execute opportunities to maximize ROI throughout the organization and drive sustainable growth
  • Support the Board and Executive team on ad hoc strategy and financial analyses, such as new product launches, expansions, operational changes and M&A opportunities
  • Implement new processes, tools, and systems to improve forecasting and reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Support fundraising and investor relations activities
