About The Position

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI), a unique Federally Recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center, is seeking a Director of Finance to join its expanding finance team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal controls. The Director of Finance will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial information, adhering to regulatory and accounting standards, and aligning financial activities with the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of experience in healthcare finance and at least three years in a team leadership capacity within finance.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of not-for-profit GAAP.
Extreme attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Strong proficiency with MS Excel and experience working in a variety of accounting systems.
Highly motivated with the ability to work on a team as well as independently and drive results.

Nice To Haves

CPA designation.
Experience in a medical office.
Medical office billing and collection experience.
