About The Position

The Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership for the Company and supports operational performance, profitability, and business growth. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial reporting, and helps guide investment decisions, capital allocation, and growth initiatives. The position oversees financial risk management, insurance programs, working capital, financial performance metrics, cost control, cash flow, and operational efficiency. It ensures compliance with applicable regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies, while maintaining and improving internal controls and financial processes. The Director of Finance leads and develops the finance team, manages relationships with external financial and business stakeholders, and partners with Regional Management on reporting and financial insight into sales, project execution, and business results. The role also serves on the Regional Leadership Team and Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the Company's strategic direction, governance, and long-term success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
10+ years of financial reporting experience.
5+ years of management experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Analytical and strategic thinker.
Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
High level of integrity, accountability, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

Lead the Company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting, including financial statements, contract schedules, and management reports.
Provide strategic financial leadership to support operational performance, profitability, and business growth.
Manage financial risks, insurance programs, working capital, and key financial performance metrics.
Drive cost control initiatives and continuous improvements in cash flow, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Support investment decisions, capital allocation strategies, and growth initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and corporate policies.
Maintain a robust internal control environment and continuously enhance financial processes and procedures.
Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, legal advisors, insurers, bonding providers, and other key external stakeholders.
Partner closely with Regional Management to implement effective reporting strategies and provide financial insight into sales performance, project execution, and business results.
Contribute as a member of the Regional Leadership Team and Executive Leadership Team, supporting the Company's strategic direction, governance, and long-term success.
