About The Position

Rula is seeking a Director of Finance Systems to own the technology supporting accounting and financial reporting and help the Accounting team move toward a faster, more automated close. The role extends beyond ERP administration into AI, automation, and financial controls that support the company's growth. The Director will oversee core finance systems, including NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, FloQast, and revenue reporting tools; manage new system launches and updates; and partner with Engineering to incorporate Finance requirements into system development. The role will also establish the Accounting team's approach to AI agents, including where they run, how they connect to NetSuite, and safeguards for accuracy and audit readiness. The Director will lead development of IT general controls and financial systems controls as the business scales. The position works across Accounting, FP&A, Financial Operations, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Analytics. It reports directly to the Controller. Rula is a remote-first company and currently hires in most U.S. states, excluding Hawaii.
