TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Director of Facility Operations to join their community in Summerville. This role is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the campus, including buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets. The position also oversees housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services, ensuring they are performed in accordance with established guidelines and policies. The Director of Facility Operations will develop vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and conduct apartment inspections prior to occupancy. A comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system will be developed and implemented. The role involves planning and leading housekeeping/laundry operations in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as reviewing financial statements, managing expenses and budget data, and ensuring timely submission of financial reports. Staffing and scheduling will be completed according to operational and budgetary guidelines. Additionally, the role ensures transportation vehicles are maintained, inspected for safety and cleanliness, and that passengers are transported safely and according to schedule.
