The Director of Facilities Management serves as the Authority’s principal representative for the physical management, condition, improvement, and long-term stewardship of Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Director oversees the Authority’s facilities management company and serves as the Authority’s representative for major facility initiatives and capital projects. The position is responsible for identifying and prioritizing facility needs, overseeing large-scale capital improvements, addressing structural and infrastructure priorities, and ensuring that the buildings remain safe, functional, accessible, well-maintained, and visually appealing. The Director works collaboratively with the facilities management company, Authority staff, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. The position operates with significant independence and provides recommendations to the Executive Director and governing body regarding facility conditions, capital priorities, budgets, projects, and long-term needs. This position is focused on the physical facilities and capital assets and is not responsible for convention sales, event booking, or event operations.
