About The Position

The Director of Facilities and Maintenance is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operational activities of assigned properties. Performs a variety of routine, preventative maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at properties located in Oklahoma. Conducts financial analysis and assists in the creation of monthly reports and annual budget recommendations for Leaderships review and approval. Manages commercial properties as assigned. Displays a service oriented, customer focused attitude in a professional work environment.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating an increasing level of responsibility.
  • Commercial property management experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.
  • Proficient in PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Enforce safety precautions specific to work area.
  • Consistently demonstrates the behaviors of servant leadership while prioritizing team member needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and fostering a culture of respect and empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily facility operations of all Bob Moore Auto Group properties. Ensures the facilities are clean, safe, and functional for the employees and helps provide an exceptional experience for the customer.
  • Leads the facilities maintenance team to include Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians. Creates and maintains an environment based on a shared set of beliefs and values rooted in trust, respect, and accountability while providing members with the tools and resources to complete their jobs. Empowers employees, provides feedback, and develops opportunities for further growth and greater responsibilities.
  • Owns the preventive and routine maintenance program and ensures work is completed as scheduled and does not interfere with the employee and/or customer experience. Responds to emergency work orders and limits down time to operations. Ensures facility maintenance is not deferred and buildings are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Responds to the facility needs of the employees in a timely manner. Develops cost proposals for approval and cost-effective solutions to correct/repair the need to allow the employee to focus on their core job responsibilities.
  • Coordinates work to be completed by outside vendors. Conducts reviews of vendors work to ensure established standards are met. Leverages the size of the auto group to bid out work to ensure best pricing across the auto group.
  • Tours properties monthly to inspect for serviceability, maintainability, and cleanliness.
  • Provides oversight on multiple projects including, but not limited to capital improvements, new constructions projects, and special projects as assigned.
  • Completes detailed scopes and requests for proposals for bidding across multiple vendors/general contractors to maximize cost savings. Ensures work is completed per approved/agreed upon scope & budget, on time per schedule and represents the high standards of Bob Moore Auto Group.
  • Manages the physical security of the properties to include electronic card access, key control, and camera systems. Maintains approved access rosters, provides badges, and keys, and conducts monthly audits of systems to ensure appropriate access levels for employees and outside vendors.
  • Coordinate and monitor annual compliance obligations related to facility operations, building systems, OSHA standards, fire/life safety requirements, vendor certifications, and property maintenance regulations.
  • Creates yearly budgets for all assigned properties and submits them to accounting.
  • Creates and submits monthly and yearly reports to leadership for auto group properties.
  • Conduct financial analysis of future construction projects, special projects, or facilities opportunities.
  • Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
  • On-call nights, weekends, and holidays to respond to maintenance or emergency calls.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
