About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to lead housekeeping and sanitation operations within a skilled nursing facility. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors. If you have experience leading EVS or housekeeping in a healthcare setting and understand the importance of infection control and survey readiness, this is a strong opportunity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in EVS or housekeeping leadership in a healthcare setting (REQUIRED)
  • Strong understanding of infection control standards and cleaning protocols
  • Experience managing teams, schedules, and departmental operations
  • Ability to maintain compliance and support successful surveys

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all environmental services operations including housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation
  • Ensure compliance with all infection control standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain survey readiness with a focus on cleanliness and safety
  • Hire, train, and manage EVS staff
  • Develop cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with nursing and administration on infection prevention initiatives
  • Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory
