Requirements
- Active PT, OT, or SLP license in the state of Florida (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 1–2+ years of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a SNF (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of SNF operations, PDPM, and Medicare guidelines
- Proven leadership experience managing rehab teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehab department (PT, OT, SLP)
- Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff
- Manage scheduling, caseloads, and productivity expectations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, PDPM, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with nursing and administration on care planning and outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and rehab program effectiveness
- Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and staff
