About The Position

360 Fire & Flood is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead safety, compliance, and related risk-management programs across our national operations. This role is responsible for establishing consistent safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace injuries and vehicle-related incidents, and strengthening safety accountability across our locations and field operations. The Director will partner closely with Operations, Human Resources, insurance partners, and third-party vendors to identify risk, analyze trends, and drive measurable improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
CSP, ASP, CHST, or comparable professional safety certification strongly preferred.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 500/501 preferred.
Additional relevant safety or IICRC certifications are a plus.
7+ years of progressive experience in EHS, occupational safety, construction safety, or risk management, including leadership responsibility.
Experience supporting construction, restoration, industrial services, or another field-based, multi-location environment.
Strong experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, safety training, and corrective actions.
Experience with fleet/driver safety, vehicle accidents, claims, and transportation related risk.
Experience working with insurance carriers, brokers, fleet management providers, or other third-party risk partners.
M&A or multi-location integration experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, construction safety, occupational health, environmental compliance, and risk-management practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use safety, claims, and loss data to identify risk and drive improvement.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence employees and leaders across multiple locations.
Strong vendor-management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance regulatory requirements and risk mitigation with the practical needs of field operations.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to company locations and project sites as required.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and standards across all locations and field operations.
Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA and federal, state, and local safety, health, and environmental requirements.
Establish expectations for jobsite inspections, hazard assessments, safe work practices, safety training, and corrective actions.
Lead investigations of workplace injuries, vehicle accidents, near misses, and significant safety events, including root-cause analysis and corrective action.
Analyze safety, workers' compensation, vehicle accident, claims, and loss data to identify trends and reduce incident frequency and severity.
Oversee fleet and driver safety standards, including driver eligibility, vehicle-use expectations, accident response, telematics, and related compliance.
Provide oversight of third-party fleet management partners and vendors, monitoring vehicle safety, maintenance, driver compliance, service levels, claims, and key performance metrics.
Partner with Operations, Human Resources, insurance carriers, brokers, and other risk partners on workers' compensation, auto liability, claims management, loss prevention, and driver insurability.
Develop and report meaningful safety and risk metrics and provide leadership with actionable recommendations regarding trends, areas of exposure, and opportunities for improvement.
Support acquisitions and integrations by assessing safety and fleet-related risks and establishing consistent standards across acquired locations.
Serve as a trusted safety and risk advisor to leadership and field teams and drive accountability for safety expectations throughout the organization.
