About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Delivery, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, is based in the Sherwood Park location. The role is responsible for establishing and leading the organization’s enterprise execution and delivery governance capability across business and technology functions. This role exists to improve how work flows through the organization by strengthening enterprise prioritization, execution governance, delivery coordination, operational cadence, and organizational accountability across strategic initiatives and operational change activities. The Director of Enterprise Delivery acts as the centralized enterprise execution leadership function responsible for improving organizational execution maturity, delivery predictability, governance visibility, portfolio alignment, and cross-functional coordination across the enterprise. This role leads enterprise delivery functions including portfolio and delivery management, business analysis, enterprise PMO capabilities, and enterprise execution governance practices. This is not a traditional PMO administration or project coordination role. The position is a transformational leadership role focused on establishing scalable execution models, improving enterprise alignment, and enabling sustainable organizational delivery as the company continues to modernize and grow. The role works closely with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, enterprise architecture, business teams, and technology teams to establish governance structures, execution standards, prioritization discipline, and scalable operating practices that improve enterprise-wide execution effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 7+ years of leadership experience in enterprise delivery, PMO leadership, portfolio management, technology delivery, operational transformation, or enterprise execution leadership roles is required.
Proven experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives within complex organizational environments is required.
Strong understanding of enterprise delivery governance, portfolio management, prioritization, execution management, organizational planning, and operational transformation is required.
Experience establishing enterprise delivery operating models, governance structures, execution standards, and scalable organizational practices is required.
Proven experience leading PMO, delivery management, and business analysis functions is required.
Proven ability to improve organizational execution maturity, governance visibility, accountability structures, and operational alignment is required.
Experience improving delivery predictability, prioritization discipline, dependency management, and cross-functional coordination is required.
Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, facilitation, organizational leadership, and influence capabilities are required.
Experience operating within evolving environments, organizational transformation initiatives, or high-growth organizations is required.
Demonstrated ability to create structure and operational clarity within environments with fragmented ownership, competing priorities, and evolving processes is required.
Experience balancing operational execution, governance rigor, organizational change, modernization initiatives, and strategic delivery objectives is required.
Proven ability in people leadership and organizational change management to drive a high-performing culture is required.
Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is required.
Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, and employment reference checks is required before employment.

Reduce execution fragmentation, reactive coordination, unclear ownership, and inconsistent delivery practices across teams and departments.
Establish scalable governance and accountability models that improve organizational execution maturity and operational sustainability.
Lead enterprise portfolio governance, delivery coordination, prioritization processes, and initiative execution alignment across the organization.
Oversee enterprise PMO and delivery management capabilities supporting strategic initiatives and operational change activities.
Ensure alignment between business priorities, operational realities, technology capacity, and enterprise delivery sequencing.
Improve consistency in execution planning, delivery coordination, risk management, escalation management, and operational accountability practices.
Establish repeatable execution practices that improve delivery maturity, organizational scalability, and execution sustainability.
Support enterprise planning and execution activities through improved prioritization clarity, sequencing discipline, and delivery governance.
Facilitate effective coordination across business, operational, architecture, technology, security, and support teams.
Improve organizational execution predictability through stronger governance, operational cadence, delivery visibility, and dependency management.
Lead enterprise business analysis capabilities supporting strategic initiatives, operational change, and enterprise delivery activities.
Establish business analysis standards, execution readiness practices, and initiative definition processes that improve delivery quality and organizational alignment.
Ensure business requirements are translated into actionable, measurable, and operationally aligned delivery outcomes.
Improve stakeholder alignment, initiative clarity, operational readiness, and business-to-technology coordination across enterprise initiatives.
Support value realization tracking, initiative definition quality, and cross-functional execution planning.
Partner with operational leaders, process stakeholders, and technology teams to improve delivery readiness and execution effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture and Technology Leadership to ensure alignment between enterprise priorities, modernization initiatives, roadmap sequencing, and operational delivery capacity.
Support roadmap governance, dependency visibility, operational feasibility assessments, and enterprise execution planning activities.
Facilitate alignment between modernization initiatives, operational sustainability, governance standards, and enterprise execution priorities.
Partner with architecture and technology leaders to improve organizational scalability, operational maturity, and long-term execution sustainability.
Build and lead a high-performing enterprise delivery organization focused on execution excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Lead and develop enterprise delivery, PMO, and business analysis teams while establishing clear accountability, operational discipline, and execution standards.
Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, operational maturity, and measurable business outcomes.
Guide teams through organizational change, delivery transformation, governance evolution, and operational maturity initiatives.
Navigate cross-functional complexity and fragmented ownership environments with strong organizational leadership and influence.
