About The Position

EisnerAmper is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics Strategy, a senior, business-facing executive responsible for defining how the firm competes on data. This role is focused on setting the enterprise data vision, modernizing the firm's analytics foundation onto Microsoft Fabric, and translating this transformation into firm strategy, profitability, and client value. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator comfortable in both boardroom strategy discussions and technical architecture, who has led a Microsoft Fabric modernization at enterprise scale. Data and analytics are critical to EisnerAmper's growth, profitability, and client service strategy. This role will report to and partner directly with executive leadership to leverage enterprise data as a competitive asset, modernizing legacy platforms, establishing firm-wide data standards, and building organizational capability for sustained transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 18+ years of experience in enterprise data and analytics leadership, including setting and leading an enterprise-level data strategy at a large or complex organization.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP or above) within financial or professional services, with a track record of influencing C-suite decisions on data investment and strategy.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on strategic leadership of a Microsoft Fabric adoption or modernization.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep, current expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, and ADLS, with the ability to discuss strategic direction and technical tradeoffs.
  • Strong background in Lakehouse architecture, enterprise data governance, and dimensional modeling at scale.
  • Proven executive communication and influence skills, with experience presenting to and shaping decisions with boards, partners, or C-suite leadership.
  • Experience building a data organization from the ground up, including hiring and developing senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise data and analytics strategy end-to-end, including setting the multi-year vision, roadmap, and operating model in partnership with C-suite, Finance, and Operations, and translating this into a business case.
  • Serve as the firm's senior authority on Microsoft Fabric, leading the strategic modernization of legacy platforms to a Fabric-based Lakehouse architecture and setting enterprise standards for data build, governance, and scaling.
  • Shape the firm's Azure and Microsoft ecosystem strategy, making platform and investment decisions balancing performance, cost, and scalability, while evolving the architecture to meet growth and analytics ambitions.
  • Establish a single, firm-wide set of financial and professional services KPIs and an executive analytics experience to transform leadership decision-making.
  • Set the firm's data governance and risk posture, establishing standards, controls, and accountability for data quality, security, and compliance (SOX, GDPR, audit).
  • Lead the enterprise-wide consolidation of structured and unstructured data into a single, trusted platform for future analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing data organization, hiring and mentoring talent, and remaining accountable for executive-level outcomes.
