About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Applications provides strategic leadership for the organization's enterprise technology architecture, cybersecurity program, and enterprise application environment, ensuring technology solutions are secure, reliable, and well-integrated. This role partners with agency leaders to support the successful implementation, integration, and governance of enterprise technologies that strengthen organizational effectiveness and support service delivery.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, including enterprise application administration, enterprise systems implementation, application lifecycle management, enterprise integrations, cybersecurity and team leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise business applications, cloud-based software platforms, cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, system integrations, vendor management, technology governance, and project delivery.
  • Experience supervising employees, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing competing priorities in a complex organization.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Advanced mastery of Microsoft 365, business productivity applications, enterprise software administration, and technology management tools.
  • Demonstrates resilience, sound judgment, and adaptability while leading organizational change, resolving complex issues, and balancing strategic and operational priorities.
  • Thrives in a complex environment and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to improve end-user experiences throughout the technology service lifecycle.
  • Successfully completes tasks in a low to moderate noise environment.
  • Interacts with others and performs work in person and through the use of technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and operating computer equipment.
  • Moves equipment and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Travels between worksites regularly; valid driver's license and motor vehicle records clearance may be required depending on business needs.
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other program- or state-required clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise technology architecture strategy, aligning enterprise applications, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and integrations with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with business leaders to support the evaluation, implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of enterprise applications and cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Establish and oversee enterprise cybersecurity governance, policies, standards, and best practices that strengthen data protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, and responsible technology use.
  • Partner with IT Operations to align enterprise applications, cybersecurity, network architecture, and infrastructure strategies that enhance security, availability, resilience, and organizational performance.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to implement enterprise technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness, system performance, user experience, and interoperability across business functions.
  • Lead and develop the Enterprise Applications and Cybersecurity teams by establishing priorities, fostering professional growth, and promoting operational excellence.
  • Evaluate enterprise technology architecture, integrations, and emerging technologies, recommending improvements that enhance security, scalability, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational capabilities.
