$220,000 - $250,000Remote

About The Position

Prismatic is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead its Engineering organization. This role reports directly to the CTO and will oversee two teams totaling 8 engineers, with plans to expand to approximately 12. This is a hands-on leadership position where the Director will directly manage the team, focusing on people management, process, feature delivery, and quality, while fostering a highly engaged team environment. The role involves working with a tech stack primarily in TypeScript, with some Python and Django on the backend, and React on the frontend. The focus will be on building a sophisticated low-code integration builder, an SDK, and features for customer AI agent functionality, all on a high-scale, performance-critical platform. While not a hands-on coding role, a strong understanding of the technology and the challenges of scaling a developer-facing SaaS platform is crucial for effective decision-making.

  • Surface and resolve cross-initiative risks, including staffing gaps, priority collisions, and delivery delays.
