About The Position
Profitable new growth company is seeking a passionate technology leader to assist its next phase of growth. As a key member of the management team, you will drive of all technology initiatives of the Company. This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial minded technology expert someone looking to make a large impact on a small but growing company.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of total professional experience
- 2-4 years of developing software and/or BI dashboards
- Well versed in various coding languages, including SQL, TypeScrip/JavaScript, Node.js, Go, PHP, and React.js
- Comprehensive understanding of full stack development processes and procedures
- Solid understanding of business applications, enterprise systems (e.g., SQL database, intelligence dashboards, etc.), and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Experience constructing databases and developing API integrations with external systems
- Proven ability to maintain a flexible technology stack and to translate business needs to system configurations
- Demonstrated history of effectively managing multiple projects, deliverables and initiatives
- Desire to wear multiple hats and ability to scale up and down (i.e., get hands dirty coding meet with clients) depending on business needs
- Self-starter with experience working in a less structured or startup business environment
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of how technology can accelerate growth, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Own architectural decisions on enterprise technology, and manage daily functional performance
- Manage full cycle development process, from planning through release
- Roll up sleeves and be involved with hands-on coding as needed
- Manage technology related projects, systems implementations, and vendors
- Serve as technical lead on projects with customers, business partners, and outside vendors
- Collaborate with customers to architect new technology products
- Manage, coach, and develop junior team members
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor to executive team
- Solve problems and think strategically to develop creative technology solutions
