About The Position

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our management team as a Full-Time Director of Engineering at Ka'anapali Ali'i, located in Lahaina, Hawaii. Yearly Salary Range: $114,000 - $140,000 (based on qualifications)

Requirements

• Full-Time Director of Engineering at Ka'anapali Ali'i, located in Lahaina, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the maintenance and repair of owner units, common areas and central systems such as water, air conditioning and electrical.
• Ensures guest and owner satisfaction and safety by providing efficient and courteous service to maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance plans.
• Responsible for maintaining individual units and public areas in good physical repair and maintaining aesthetically pleasing quality.
• Ensures maximum profitability while using resort standards for efficient use of equipment, tools and ordering of supplies.
• Responsible for maintenance of all landscaping on property.
• Manages and oversees the Landscaping staff.
• Makes recommendations for improvement plans to the General Manager.
• Attends Department Head meetings.
• Coordinates with other department on a regular basis to ensure the maximum efficiency an owner/guest satisfaction.
• In coordination with the Chief Engineer, monitors present and future trends, systems, and practices of hotel technology, recommends justifiable future action.
• In coordination with the Chief Engineer, monitors purchasing practices to ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
