About The Position

Wild West Systems is seeking a Director of Engineering to build and scale our Engineering department to develop and ship next-generation asymmetrical warfare technologies. This role involves end-to-end ownership of mechanical design, refinement, work instructions, process documentation, and managing the entire mechanical, propulsion, and production process. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can revamp unreliable processes into clean, repeatable systems, possesses a mentality to move fast and iterate, and can balance speed with discipline.

Requirements

• ITAR Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
• Experience revamping unreliable processes into clean, repeatable systems
• Mentality to move fast and iterate on fly, not waiting for perfect conditions
• Experience balancing speed with discipline
• Must be on camera during interviews and assessments.
• Must be eligible for E-Verify to confirm work authorization.
