The Director of End User Compute leads the engineering, automation, platform strategy, and full technology lifecycle management for the university’s endpoint environment. This role oversees teams responsible for device planning and standards, procurement alignment, provisioning and deployment automation, endpoint configuration governance, software deployment pipelines, platform integrations, security-aligned engineering, refresh strategy, and asset retirement processes across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. The position ensures that devices are introduced, maintained, refreshed, and retired in a structured, data-driven manner that balances user experience, cost optimization, risk reduction, and sustainability. The Director ensures the EUC engineering ecosystem is reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with institutional strategy, establishing clear lifecycle standards, refresh cadences, and platform roadmaps, while operating as an engineering and strategy function.
