About The Position

The Director of Employer Partnerships & Retail Health Growth leads a multidisciplinary team focused on expanding access, utilization, and strategic alignment of retail health assets—including behavioral health, executive health, urgent care, and outpatient rehab—through referral, direct-to-employer and community channels. This role drives market growth by integrating sales, outreach, and relationship management functions across service lines, ensuring cohesive execution of the health system's consumer, referral and employer-facing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Healthcare Administration or related field Required
  • 7 Years Experience in healthcare business development, employer relations, or retail health strategy Required
  • DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Required
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute integrated strategic plans across THR's service area.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving growth initiatives.
  • Proven ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and multi-disciplinary teams across all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging Salesforce CRM to drive actionable business development strategies and team performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise the Behavioral Health Growth Specialists, Executive Health Relationship Managers and Community Physician Relations Managers as part of the Ambulatory Virtual Channel.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent messaging, referral pathways and performance tracking.
  • Set KPMs for outreach, conversion and client satisfaction across all channels and assets
  • Participate in the development and then optimization of a CRM for use across business growth functions within Texas Health.
  • Lead direct-to-employer sales efforts for retail health services, including contract negotiation where needed, onboarding and account management.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with employers, Chambers, business associations and brokers where appropriate in collaboration with other THR channels.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, employer benefit trends, and utilization data to inform strategy. Partner with analytics and finance teams to assess ROI, volume growth and margin contribution. Present quarterly performance dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Works in direct collaboration with the Ambulatory and Virtual Channel business owners to understand strategy for growth so that the team is operating in alignment with the business growth needs.
