We are seeking an experienced and collaborative human resources leader to serve as our Director of Employee Success & Experience, a key member of the Human Resources leadership team responsible for attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining a high-performing workforce. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this position leads strategic initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. The Director partners with leaders across the College to build innovative talent strategies that strengthen organizational culture and position BRCC as an employer of choice. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, learning and development, or related fields.
  • Six (6) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Higher Education Administration, or a related field may substitute for five years of qualifying experience.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach to Human Resources.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading organizational change and process improvement.
  • A commitment to integrity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning initiatives with hiring managers.
  • Enhance BRCC's employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Service Rules, employment laws, and College hiring procedures.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Analyze employee feedback and implement meaningful improvements.
  • Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Design and oversee employee learning and leadership development programs.
  • Direct New Employee Orientation and CPTP programming.
  • Coordinate training needs assessments across the College.
  • Support succession planning and supervisory development.
  • Lead the College's onboarding strategy.
  • Partner with departments to ensure a welcoming and successful transition for new employees.
  • Develop resources that support supervisors and new employees.
  • Measure onboarding effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the functional lead for the PageUp Talent Management System.
  • Improve recruitment workflows and reporting.
  • Develop workforce dashboards and meaningful HR metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Supervise and develop assigned staff.
  • Establish departmental goals and performance measures.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for executive leadership.
