About The Position

Our mission is to help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We are seeking individuals who are bold, take ownership, and are eager to tackle challenges and drive change. This role focuses on expanding Good Inside into high-impact, non-core revenue channels. The Director of Emerging Business will identify and develop new business opportunities and secure partnerships to expand Good Inside's reach and generate revenue. Initial focus will be on the 1:1 parent coaching business and securing enterprise partnerships. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office, with significant autonomy reporting to the President.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience owning a service or subscription revenue line, including pricing, packaging, forecasting, and cross-functional delivery coordination.
  • Experience building or scaling a 1:1 or high-touch service business (coaching, therapy, tutoring, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to balance customer experience with growth objectives.
  • Enterprise or partnership sales experience, comfortable with prospecting and closing.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move quickly.
  • Proficiency in both strategic thinking (spreadsheets) and client interaction (sales conversations).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with product, coaching/delivery, legal, and finance.
  • Genuine alignment with Good Inside's mission.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to compellingly pitch Good Inside's value proposition to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own 1:1 services as a business line, including pricing, packaging, and new offer design, scaling it from early signals into a significant business.
  • Partner with the coaching team on capacity planning and quality, and own the growth and revenue aspects of the 1:1 business.
  • Identify and establish adjacent revenue streams such as new service formats, upsell paths, and session-based offerings.
  • Own reporting and forecasting for 1:1 and related revenue lines, including conversion, upgrade rates, retention, and unit economics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, content, finance, and other departments to launch and scale new opportunities.
  • Explore and evaluate additional emerging opportunities like licensing, international expansion, and media as the business matures.
  • Source, pitch, and close enterprise and institutional partnerships with D2C businesses, healthcare systems, school districts, and employers.
  • Own the full deal cycle from outreach to signed agreement, collaborating with legal, finance, and operations on pricing and delivery models.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise opportunities with a disciplined approach to forecasting.
