About The Position

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Emergency Room to lead and inspire our dedicated team at a 100-bed acute care hospital, located in the scenic and adventurous region of Arizona. Job Summary: As the Director of Emergency Room , you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative oversight and direction for our fast-paced Emergency Department. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality nursing care and patient satisfaction. You will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, addressing nursing challenges and interpreting hospital policies to meet and exceed patient care standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with a strong preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.
- Must have ACLS certification upon hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is also required.
- Must hold a current Arizona Registered Nurse license or a Compact State Registered Nurse license.
- At least 5 years of experience in middle or upper management in an Emergency Department setting.
Nice To Haves
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification.
