About The Position

Provide professional accounting, financial guidance, and analytical support within the division. Gather, organize, and analyze information to complete both routine and special assignments under varying levels of guidance. Interface with all levels of Division and Corporate personnel to address financial questions, performance results, variances, and operational processes. Act as a financial partner to Division Leadership.

  • Experience producing operating performance reports.
  • Experience with budget-to-actual comparisons.
  • Ability to develop and manage analytical tools.
  • Skills in identifying profit improvement opportunities and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ability to analyze costs and benefits of new programs.
  • Experience supporting financial requirements for new and closed stores.
  • Experience supporting corporate initiatives and bonus programs.
  • Financial analysis and support for labor negotiations.
  • Experience evaluating financial impact of contract negotiation strategies.
  • Assistance with preparation of quarterly and fiscal closing statements.
  • Supervisory, coaching, and development skills for financial staff (may supervise).
  • Financial support for special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, direct, and prepare the Division’s Annual and Quarterly Operating Plans.
  • Coordinate the development and ongoing monitoring of Division budgets, including active participation in the Quarterly Review process.
  • Prepare performance reports, provide guidance, and recommend budget revisions as needed.
  • Establish weekly, period, and quarterly estimates and projections to ensure accurate reporting of Division operating results.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools that highlight key performance measures, both financial and non‑financial.
  • Produce key operating performance reports for Store Operations, including budget‑to‑actual comparisons.
  • Develop and manage analytical tools to improve profit performance of new and underperforming stores.
  • Identify profit improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions based on trend analysis and results.
  • Analyze costs and benefits of new programs proposed by Division Management.
  • Support Operations with financial requirements related to new and closed stores.
  • Support Corporate initiatives, including Division bonus programs.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for Division labor negotiations, including evaluating the financial impact of contract negotiation strategies.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and fiscal closing statements.
  • May supervise, coach, develop, and prioritize workflow for regional financial staff.
  • Provide financial support on special projects as assigned by Division Executives.
