About The Position
Uline is hiring a hands-on warehouse leader to direct a major distribution operation in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The operation spans more than 2.5 million square feet and is one of Uline’s largest distribution operations in North America. The Director leads from the warehouse floor, stays connected to daily operations, develops high-performing teams, and delivers strong customer service, including same-day shipping. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, including direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
- Proven success improving productivity, quality, and safety through operational leadership.
- Experience leading with KPIs, performance metrics, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the warehouse floor alongside employees to support accuracy, productivity, and safety.
- Direct day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, and supporting departments.
- Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead a team of 500+ employees through daily feedback and hands-on leadership.
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
- Investigate operational challenges, remove barriers, and implement practical, data-driven improvements to strengthen warehouse performance.
