About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide coverall management of a progressive and comprehensive, dining and nutritional service operation that meets the needs of the residents. The Director is financially accountable for the Dining Services department. The Director works collaboratively with other departments, supports the development of programs to promote quality services. The Director assures the safety and sanitation of the Dining Services department in compliance governing health code regulations and company policies. The Director performs management-related functions to include hiring, scheduling, evaluating, training, and counseling in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Certificate in Dietary Management (CDM) or Certification in Food Service Management, or an associate degree or bachelor's degree in food service management and Restaurant Management is required.
5 years supervisory or leadership role in food service management.
