About The Position

Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering for prestigious institutions, is seeking a Director of Dining Services for their Corporate Dining division in NYC. This role, reporting to the Vice President of Operational Excellence, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a designated client account. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, multitasking, operational leadership, staff management, and relationship-building skills. This position offers the opportunity to work with various client accounts in the NYC region, supporting daily operations or strategic initiatives such as new account start-ups and client transitions. Requirements

Five years of complex foodservice operation experience
Previous experience managing a budget

Responsibilities

Manages day to day operations of an account
Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
Oversees P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
Works with the Chef and management team to ensure top-quality food
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
