About The Position

The Director of Dining Services, reporting directly to the District Manager, is responsible for leading daily operational excellence for a corporate dining account in Whippany, NJ. This hands‑on, highly visible hospitality leader will oversee multiple service lines and serve as the primary owner of client relationships. This position requires an experienced operator with a background in catering operations (catering sales experience is a strong plus), retail dining, coffee bar operations, and pantry services. The ideal candidate is a polished communicator, an exceptional relationship builder, and a strong operator who can effectively manage teams and multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the dining account
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, customers, guests, and internal departments
Support financial processes, including reporting and budget oversight
Lead HR functions such as hiring, training, progressive counseling, and terminations
Manage team scheduling, payroll, staffing, and ongoing training initiatives
