The Director of Development is a senior fundraising professional responsible for leading all philanthropic activities within an assigned region. This individual develops and executes a comprehensive regional fundraising strategy, manages a portfolio of major donors and prospects, and works closely with Regional Directors, volunteer leadership, and the national Development team to achieve ambitious fundraising goals. The Director of Development serves as a strategic partner to regional leadership and acts as a trusted advisor to donors, helping them align their philanthropic interests with the IAC’s mission and priorities. This is an entrepreneurial, externally facing role requiring exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a demonstrated ability to secure transformational philanthropic investments. The Director of Development reports to the Chief Communities & Growth Officer and works closely with Regional Directors and senior organizational leadership.
