About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Data Governance with a strong focus on accelerating business transformation through data management and operations excellence. The Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring that business requirements are thoroughly understood and effectively translated into IT solutions, with a keen vision for business process management and transformation. Expertise in industry standards and a deep understanding of master data for ERP and supply chain are critical for success in this role.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, or Business), Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience in data operations and data management with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
Advanced understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into IT solutions.
Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to data management, ERP, and supply chain.
Apply expertise in master data management for ERP systems and supply chain processes to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with overall business objectives.
Provide visionary leadership to the data governance team, fostering collaboration across IT, business analysts, and executives.
Manage the budget for data governance and invest in the professional growth of the data operations team.
Ensure the highest levels of data security and privacy are maintained.
Provide regular reports to senior management on data governance, performance, and progress of business transformation initiatives.
