About The Position

The Director of Data Analytics will be the driving force behind the credit union's evolution into a data-driven organization. This role combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership to harness data in support of growth, expansion, and deepening member relationships. The director will oversee analytics, data governance, and systems integration and architecture, ensuring that data becomes a trusted organizational asset used to make informed, timely decisions. This position will lead a team of business intelligence analysts to build a unified data environment, modernize tools and processes, and deliver actionable insights that help shape the credit union's direction and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to deconstruct complex information into easily understandable components.
  • Ability to think beyond traditional data models to identify innovative solutions, processes, and experiment with new methods to foster creativity and innovation.
  • Experience developing advanced analytics, dashboards, and forecasting models.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences and executive leadership.
  • Experience overseeing third-party data systems, tools, and vendors.
  • Experience ensuring seamless integration of data across core systems.
  • Experience partnering with IT and vendors to improve data accessibility and maintaining security compliance.

  • Partnering with executives and other department leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities where data can drive measurable business outcomes.
