About The Position

The Strong is seeking a Director of Corporate and Strategic Relations to manage and elevate its corporate partnerships, regional and national sponsorships, and high-impact industry alliances within the toy, video game, and entertainment sectors. This role is part of a supportive, collaborative Institutional Advancement team and will inherit an established corporate portfolio. The focus will be on deepening existing donor relationships, cultivating new national partnerships, and securing funding for museum priorities and events like the annual Play Ball gala.

Requirements

• 5+ years in direct fundraising.
• Demonstrated experience closing significant corporate gifts and sponsorships.
• Talent for moves management, prospect research, and aligning partner marketing goals with mission-driven opportunities.
• Desire to work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, exhibits) to deliver meaningful donor recognition and steward long-term support.
• Driven, relationship builder and strategic communicator.
