FLSA Status: Exempt Summary We are seeking a Director of Corporate Partnerships to sell and service sponsorships for Broadway Across America. The candidate should be a self-motivator, that can work in a multi-market, multi-disciplined and fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a passion for live entertainment, specifically Broadway theater. The candidate will be charged with meeting certain revenue goals for their region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of aggressive sales experience in a sponsorship or media environment.
  • Experience in sales, development, customer service and execution of entertainment based corporate sponsorship programs.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, partners, or members of the industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the various personalities involved in each market, including but not limited to, the local client, the regional manager, local marketers, venue personnel and partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Entertainment, Attractions or Sports sponsorship sales in preferred.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Arts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Retain Current sponsorship business in the primary region.
  • Develop New Sponsorship business in the primary region.
  • Work with others within the company to develop opportunities that may expand to additional local, regional or national opportunities.
  • Craft sales presentations that utilize the available sponsorship assets in each individual market.
  • Develop business relationships, set and attend meetings, present sponsorship opportunities.
  • Draft contract language, maintain client relationships, ensure deliverables, attend events.
  • Events, opening nights and other client activities may occasionally occur outside normal business hours.
  • Some travel will be necessary.
  • On-going management of the overall client relationship through the sales process, contracting, invoicing, collections and the overall execution of the corporate partnership.
