The Director of Corporate Communications & Publicity leads the strategy, development, and execution of integrated communications initiatives that protect, position, and promote the Kansas City Chiefs brand. This role oversees communications efforts supporting integrated marketing campaigns, brand marketing, youth marketing, and international initiatives, while also providing strategic counsel across broader organizational communications needs. Working cross-functionally with key business units, the position drives consistent, compelling storytelling that strengthens brand equity, deepens fan engagement, and reflects the organization’s values, culture, and long-term vision across local, national, and global audiences. The role also manages media and press relationships, while helping position the organization, executives, and key initiatives as industry leaders through proactive storytelling and thought leadership opportunities across sports, business, advertising, and culture outlets. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, brings strong strategic instincts and can independently lead initiatives from concept through execution while building trusted relationships across the organization and media landscape.
