About The Position

Take the lead in delivering best-in-class concessions experiences at Northwestern University. As Director of Concessions, you will drive operational excellence, oversee large-scale event execution, and elevate service standards across all concession locations. You will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience while achieving financial and operational goals in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of food & beverage or concessions management experience
  • Experience managing high-volume, multi-outlet operations
  • Proficiency in POS systems, inventory, and financial reporting tools
  • Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe)
  • Experience with labor planning and cost control strategies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all concessions operations across the venue
  • Lead hiring, training, and development of management and hourly teams
  • Manage labor, inventory, and cost controls to meet financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
  • Execute event operations from planning through post-event evaluation
  • Analyze sales and performance data to drive operational improvements
  • Partner with culinary and operations teams to enhance menu offerings and service delivery
  • Uphold and implement Levy service standards across all concession areas
