About The Position

This role requires little supervision and may supervise others. The Director of Compliance will be directly responsible for the administration of all functions and activities associated with ATF Compliance. This includes direct interaction with the ATF, controlling all inbound transactions, and all internal transactions with all regulated items such as lower receivers, rifles, pistols, suppressors and other NFA related items. The individual must demonstrate strong leadership and model ethical behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, or governmental documents.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to conduct many types of mathematical problems including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Primary Weapons Systems and Lone Wolf Arms A&D (Acquisition and Disposition) bound book to always ensure clerical accuracy.
  • Manage and maintain accounts via Orchid eBound.
  • Within Orchid, complete and ensure correct submissions of ATF Forms, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10 and AFMER 5300.11
  • Manage with Compliance Team, all manufactured serial numbers to be acquired in the A&D bound book per ATF protocol.
  • Manage with Compliance Team, all outbound serial numbers to dispose correctly in the A&D bound book in a timely fashion per ATF protocol.
  • Perform quarterly internal ATF audits for in stock inventory of all serial numbers to also include NFA inventory.
  • Oversee and manage all Exportation paperwork to ensure all documentation is correct and to properly communicate with other parties when they are not.
  • If supervising employees, carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
