About The Position

The Director of Communications, Marketing & PR is responsible for overseeing and executing all internal and external communication and marketing strategies for Vibe Restaurants. This role ensures brand consistency, effective messaging, and impactful marketing and public relations efforts to enhance the company’s reputation, visibility, and engagement. The Director will lead the development and implementation of communications, marketing, and promotional plans, manage crisis communications, and oversee media relations to support business objectives. In addition, this role will lead and support company events, marketing campaigns, and community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or PR leadership roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong marketing strategy, media relations, and brand management capabilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing and communication plans.
  • Experience managing digital marketing, advertising, and social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and use office equipment.
  • Occasionally required to travel for events and company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an internal communication strategy that fosters a culture of transparency and engagement.
  • Ensure effective dissemination of key company messages, updates, and initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with leadership to craft executive messaging and support internal events.
  • Manage internal newsletters, announcements, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead external communication efforts, including media relations, press releases, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and oversee PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Manage crisis communications and reputation management strategies.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all public channels.
  • Develop and oversee Vibe Restaurants’ marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee digital advertising, local store marketing, and partnership campaigns to support company growth.
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize ROI.
  • Partner with franchisors and operations to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Support and lead content strategy for Vibe Restaurants’ social media and digital platforms.
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across all digital channels, including websites and social media.
  • Oversee creative development for digital campaigns, promotions, and brand storytelling.
  • Monitor public sentiment and industry trends to optimize communication and marketing efforts.
  • Partner with marketing vendors or agencies as needed for content production and campaign execution.
  • Serve as a company spokesperson when necessary and train key team members on media engagement.
  • Develop communication and marketing strategies for partnerships, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
  • Collaborate with franchise partners and internal teams to align messaging, marketing, and PR efforts.
  • Keeps the Sr. Vice President of Operations Services and executive leadership informed of communication, marketing, and PR opportunities, challenges, and successes.
  • Ensures all communications and marketing initiatives align with brand values, mission, and company objectives.
  • Creates a positive, productive work environment that supports team and company success.
  • Manages budgets and resources effectively to maximize communication, marketing, and PR impact.
  • Leads all aspects of communication, marketing, and PR in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Oversees content creation and marketing materials to ensure high-quality, impactful messaging.
  • Advises executive leadership on brand strategy, communications, and marketing best practices.
  • Tracks and reports on communication and marketing effectiveness, including campaign analytics and media coverage.
  • Supports crisis communication efforts and provides rapid response as needed.
