About The Position

The Director of Commercialization is responsible for leading the end-to-end commercialization process for new products, innovations, and strategic initiatives impacting BBU’s portfolio from concept through launch and post-launch performance. This role establishes commercialization governance, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures successful execution across the portfolio while delivering measurable business results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in commercialization, innovation, product development, supply chain, or program management.
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or scaling commercialization functions, processes, or operating models.
  • Strong portfolio management and governance experience.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercialization activities from concept development through market launch and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes, stage-gate requirements, execution standards, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Drive alignment across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Team, Sales Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the commercialization portfolio, including resource planning, prioritization, risk management, and progress tracking.
  • Ensure launch readiness across all business functions, including customer activation, operational preparedness, and performance measurement.
  • Provide executive visibility into project status, risks, opportunities, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and continuously improve commercialization processes, tools, and playbooks.
  • Lead issue resolution and decision-making for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
