About The Position

Regis Jesuit is seeking a Director of College Counseling to begin in the 2026-2027 school year. The Director of College Counseling leads a student-centered program that supports all students and parents and guardians through the college search, application, and decision-making process. This role fosters a collaborative department culture, ensures a consistent student experience across grade levels, and advocates for students both within Regis Jesuit and with colleges. The Director oversees daily operations and partners with the Assistant Principal for Student Support and school leadership to ensure the college counseling process remains a top priority.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience working with college admissions
  • Evidence of strong communication, organizational skills and leadership skills
  • Program management preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Interest in curriculum, pedagogy and metacognition
  • Commitment to furthering the Catholic, Jesuit mission and identity of Regis Jesuit

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the College Counseling program, ensuring alignment, consistency, and quality
  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture
  • Oversee development of programming, curriculum, and counseling timelines across all grade levels
  • Serve as liaison to school leadership, advising on college admissions trends and implications
  • Ensure clear, consistent communication with students, families, faculty, and external partners
  • Serve as the primary voice of College Counseling
  • Coordinate department messaging, events and outreach
  • Build relationships with colleges, peer schools and professional organizations
  • Participate actively in the broader school community
  • Lead signature programming (College Night, parent events, presentations, workshops, IMPACT lessons)
  • Maintain a student caseload
  • Manage department workflows, logistics, and daily operations
  • Oversee Scoir and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective use
  • Ensure timely processing of transcripts, recommendations, and college communications
  • Coordinate college visits
  • Coordinate and implement the SAT for juniors and all testing/ proctoring for this assessment
  • Oversee admissions, scholarship, and matriculation data collection and reporting
  • Manage and maintain data in college counseling platform (SCOIR)
  • Maintain key materials (school profile, publications, internal resources)
  • Manage department budget and lead team meetings
  • Offer and lead College Counseling Summer Programming, which includes student courses, student and family drop-ins and work with the Registrar.
