The Director of Coding Compliance will be responsible for developing the business plan and strategy for various lines of business and working with leadership on strategies and business plans for various functions; collaborating across the enterprise to ensure that enterprise strategies align with line of business strategies; representing lines of business and completing deliverables for annual Enterprise Multiyear planning; managing matrix relationships with key enterprise areas; developing executive communication for the lines of business including communications and presentations for Board Meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Medical Record Administration or related healthcare field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years of Certification in Coding; Must have national certification in coding
  • 10 Years of Risk Adjustment experience in Medicare, Medicaid and ACA field.
  • Experience in ICD-10 and HCPCS coding
  • Familiar with Risk Adjustment Data Validation Audits
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines at once.
  • Ability to lead effectively and drive sustainable results in both individual and team settings.
  • Strong to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytically driven approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

  • Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.
