About The Position

The Director of Clinical Training & Development leads clinical training, mentorship, and professional development across Arbor Therapy. This role is responsible for building strong clinicians through structured onboarding, ongoing training, and mentorship while supporting recruitment and development of future therapists. This role also oversees the student clinical rotation program as a pipeline for future clinician hiring. Arbor Therapy is a leading provider of therapeutic services across the East and West Valley of Arizona. Requirements

  • Licensed OT or SLP (active and in good standing)
  • 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience
  • Experience mentoring clinicians or supervising students
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and training programs for therapists
  • Develop competency frameworks and training resources
  • Support ongoing clinician development and mentorship
  • Serve as a clinical resource for therapists and managers
  • Support clinical reasoning and skill development
  • Promote consistency in care across clinics
  • Participate in therapist interviews and candidate evaluation
  • Support clinician retention and career development
  • Oversee student clinical rotations
  • Support supervisors and student learning experiences
  • Develop program as a recruitment pipeline
